The Macrie Moor peated is the 6th Edition of this popular and iconic Arran. Both re-designed for 2015 to feature a paper label.
Gilbert & Patrick made something special!
Zuidam Distillers still creates their products in the traditional artisanal way. All ingredients are 100% natural and are carefully selected and processed into the most beautiful products in our family owned and run distillery. All recipes are designed by father Fred and son Patrick van Zuidam, where Gilbert looks after the customers. The same care and attention with which we create our spirits is also given to the packaging. They tell us every time that they hope we will enjoy their products as they have enjoyed creating them for us. For 2015 they created the special Millstone 10YO Heavenly Peated which aged in new barrels of American white oak. The lightly peated version of Millstone whisky was introduced in 2010 and won in 2011 a silver medal in the International Spirits Challenge in London.
Let's get suprised by the 10 year old limited heavy peated! Special Millstone 10Y Heavy Peated release no 6. Distilled in 2005 ! We found it awesome... with the always remaining taste and nose of the lovely Millstone Single Malt....
What's new in Gordon & Macphails own Distillery Benromach?
It was always the ambition of John Urquhart and subsequent generations of the Urquhart family that one day Gordon & MacPhail would own and manage a distillery of its own.
This dream became a reality in 1993 when the company purchased Benromach Distillery in Forres. At the time the distillery was virtually derelict, all the fixtures and fittings had been ripped out and sold by the previous owners. Drawing upon generations of expertise in the whisky industry, Benromach was carefully and painstakingly re-equipped ready to recommence operation before it was officially reopened by HRH Prince Charles in 1998.
Just three experienced distillers create Benromach using the finest Scottish barley and the purest spring water from the nearby Romach Hills. They personally ensure that only the highest quality spirit is filled into sturdy oak casks before being left to mature at Benromach Distillery for many years.
Benromach was the first distillery to introduce this wood finish in 2007. New for 2015, are the Benromach 2005 Hermitage wood and the vintage 2006 Sassicaia Wood Finish. Matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks for 7 years, then transferred to ex-Sassicaia wine casks for a further 18 months maturation.
Sassicaia is regarded as one of the most prestigious wines in the world. It is created in the exciting and fashionable Tuscan wine producing region of Bolgheri.
Aurora is a unique new expression of Crystal Head
Instead of exploring different flavours, Aurora was crafted using a different grain. It offers a drier, bolder, and spicier vodka while staying true to the Crystal Head house-style. The bottle, with its delicate and iridescent metallized finish, is our tribute to this natural wonder of the world.
The Crystal Head Aurora bottle was created in celebration of this natural light display, with its beauty and mysterious visual properties.
Aurora uses high quality English wheat and pristine water from Newfoundland, Canada to craft an additive-free vodka. The vodka is five times distilled and filtered seven times. Three of the filtrations pass through layers of Herkimer diamonds as our final distinctive touch.

Rum goes Whisky barrels.... the popularity of whiskies is also mentioned by the rum distillers. So they aged their rum as whisky on great whisky barrels....
RUM OPTHIMUS 25 Y MALT WHISKY TOMATIN is a Special edition of Dominican Rum at Tomatin malt whiskey casks matured. The taste is overwhelming and very fine, with many flavors of vanilla, honey and cocoa. Very exclusive and possibly enrich both rum and whiskey lovers.
A 25 year old rum with a very good price for great quality! Opthimus 25 YO Malt Whisky was awarded best rum of 2013.
